Yes, like the others said, Zillow gives a relatively accurate value for each property. If you want really specific numbers, you'll want to contact an agent in that area who does property evaluations regularly and knows the market. If you need precision, you want Realtors. I do over 1500 property evaluations a year and also find time to sell 30-40 homes a year, so if you're in my market area, just shoot me a list of addresses you want values on and I'll get to work and give you accuracy. We can then judge those against the Zillow values. :)

Zillow provides you with their Zestimate of home values based on their formula. However, this may or may not be the same result as an official appraiser, which is the bottom line for mortgage loans and refinancing.

However, in my opinion, Zillow's zestimate is within ball park figure. It is accurate to the present time but not as accurate as what an appraiser will do.

There's a website we use sometimes designed for giving rental values. It's usually a good indicator, although a realtor can better predict because knows the market better. We definitely wouldn't rely on it's values alone, but alot of our clients tried this before hiring us!

We have some trendy areas of town that rent for much higher, and rent-o-meter always says it's too high.

Sanas

This site gives you their best guess. It's a great rough estimate to get you started.

Often it is very different than what your house will sell for.

For that, you need an excellent agent that knows your house, your neighborhood and who can position it based on your need to sell.

If you need a value for legal reasons, get an appraisal.

Good luck to you
