No, the MLS comes from a real estate agent inputting your home listing into the MLS system. We pay for the right to do that.

If a property is listed in the Multiple Listing Service for the area, and it is syndicated by an agent or a website they post on to Zillow, the MLS number is on the Home Details Page, so YES, if you want to "get" the number for the listing from Zillow to give to your agent for further MLS listing information, it can be found by looking up the address on Zillow, assuming it is in the MLS, and that the agent actually wants the home to have some marketing exposure.

(Some agents prefer to hide the listing information as they really don't want their client to be able to sell quickly, since it would ruin the agent's chance at marketing other things).

(But if "selling", you need to put it in the MLS FIRST before putting it on Zillow, and that requires paying a broker that is a member of the MLS!)

Hello,

Zillow does not download data from the MLS, and thus it cannot be considered a conclusive of all the homes on the market.

It's best to ask a local realtor for more information.

Good luck

Howard

The MLS services are private services, and Zillow is not part of the MLS services.   Therefore, you would need to work either with an agent or a group such as "help u sell".

When you list with a real estate professional, they take your information and put it into the system for other agents and buyers to see.  In putting it into the system, an MLS number is generated.  Ask your friends and relatives for referrals of agents that they may have used and whom they trust.  Look online and find agents in your area who specialize in your neighborhood.  This is not something that you want to do by yourself.
