can I get an estamated appraisal online

Just trying to get an idea of what my house is worth now should I fix it up or sell as is . . What is required by state to update. I have a 500 gallon septic tank will that have to replace to a 1000 gallon septic tank before I can sell the house ?  Thank you Bob
