This is a tough one. If you go to a small local bank they be able to offer you a loan if they keep the loan in-house. The problem comes in when the lender wants to sell your loan. No score means no sale.
You should probably get a couple credit cards that you could charge and then pay off. I would not run the balances up, but the key would be to have something report on your credit.
