There does not appear to be a way to prepare a partial listing inside Zillow, like many online mls systems allow you to do.

Once you click "Create New Listing" inside Zillow it requires you to add basic information, but it goes on line nearly immediately.

Wait until you have all your information at hand before you create the listing or start with the essentials then update ASAP.

Be sure to have at least 3 photos are more, but add more, at least 12 total.
The more the better is the rule here.

Good Luck!

I agree with Ann.  Don't do anything until you are completely ready.  People's attention spans are so short now and they have so little time, and you may only get one look.  So just be patient, and put it out there when you are proud of your listing.  It will be worth the wait!

This depends on what you mean by "not completely ready." If your house is full of clutter and needs painting definitely don't do it. If you need the lawn mowed and everything else is ok, go ahead. If you are listing with a Realtor, you will be bound by the law in your state, so ask your agent.

By far it is best to be completely ready when you set up your listing, because you get the most internet activity and showing activity in the first couple of weeks.
