Your agent can't show you "other or cash bids" as your Buyer Representative, your agent does not have access to them. The listing agent will not show them to you, because this would be in violation of their fiduciary to the sellers.

As you posting in "home buying", I am suspecting you are a buyer.

You and your agent can only know the other offers if the seller has asked the listing agent to release the offer information.  So, you can inquire but you may get a "no" as a response.

There is a lot more involved in evaluating a bid than just the offer price.  For example, cash vs financing.  Inspections vs no inspections.   Time to close and many other factors.   A seller has no obligation to accept the highest dollar bid.

Howdy,

Can you clarify the question? Are you a buyer or a seller? As a buyer, I'm not aware of any way your Realtor can force the other agent to show the other bids. They can ask, but unless it's in the Seller's best interest the other agent is likely to refuse. That said, Realtor's and agents are bound to be fair and honest with each other. So if the other agent is telling your Realtor that they received multiple offers, then either they received multiple offers or they are putting their license at risk. Inventory is tight in this market (at least in San Francisco), so I'm going to lean strongly on the former rather than the latter possibility is what's occurring.

Now, if you're a seller... then of course you can get your Realtor to show you the other bids made on your home. As a matter of fact, it's the law! We're required to present ALL offers, unless you explicitly and in writing instruct us not to. Listing agents are there to help the seller get the highest possible price for their property under the best conditions. How can we possibly do that if we don't show you everything that's being offered?

I hope this answers your question.
