city occupancy permits

Profile picture for chuckyflash1
I found a house on Har I read that there are no restrictions, so I assume that I can use it for my salon biz.  I called the city planning and occupancy divisions and have been given the run around.  I contacted tdlr and they do not require city occupancy permits.  Should I proceed without it?  What should be my next step?

This is a hard road in Houston!  If the neighborhood does not have restrictions, that does not also mean that you can have any business you want there. The city of Houston has parking requirements, building requirements, etc, that you should verify independently before purchasing this property.  I have a contact at COH that should be able to help you with this if you are still considering this property.
