So, if i put my property up for sale it will spike my so called zestimate up to a substantial amount. This property we are talking about was estimated at around 45k six months ago. Now, while all othe properties are flat or mostly falling, this property is being estimated at a rediculous rate 96k.. You say take zillow with a grain of salt, so why bother with zillow if that's the case. I still think something is fishy.

DONT look at the individual Zestimate, only the area's trend line - which is flat to declining - to estimate the value of the property. The spike appears to be due to the listing on 10/20/2011, another reason to take the Zestimate with a grain of salt.

condo apprecitate while all others are going down in value, why???
