If you used an AZ contract, refer to section 7c. to 7e. for guidance. There are inexpensive suggestions rather than having to go to an attorney right away.

Sounds like a bad situation. You need to read your contract to see what your recourse is, but you also need to demand your deposit back in writing with proof that you sent it either return receipt or by email with a bcc back to yourself for proof.
Lay out the basics of what happened on the sale (dates, times etc) and then state your case for meeting your end of the contract. Tell them why your deposit should be returned and give them a period of time to reply. If that does not work or you have no other way to deal with a breach in the contrct, then you need to get some legal advice. You can try to find an attorney on Avvo.com
