It's hard to get financing with any credit rating under 620 these days. Not sure how you've been pre-approved, but doubt you would get through underwriting if you submitted a contract on a home. You'd end up very disappointed to go through all the paperwork on a home you love, only to have your financing turned down. Sounds like you need some credit repair.One of the mortgage companies I work with will rebate your credit repair costs at closing. Maybe shop around and see if you can find something similar. Ask your Realtor!
