I don't quite understand your issue? As I understand it, you paid $1,320,000 for a house in Los Altos ($660. x 2,000 sf = $1,320,000). Without knowing the property, it's location and/or condition, you could have over-paid, under-paid or hit it right on the button. Have you talked with your agent? What did he/she say about the home's value. Did he/she provide comps, insights etc. into our local market? Please give us more details.
Oh...thanks Hamp...
In that case, well...actually any home in Los Altos that's under 1.6, is not a bad investment. especially west of foothill expressway.

I'm thinking they mean $660 per square foot. That's what it says, sort of. $1.3 Million. That sounds more like Cali cost to me.
If you bought a home in Los Altos for 660,000, You have done pretty well.
Is that correct? 660,000? 10,000 sq ft lot???????
If you are having cold feet and you back out, I have investors drooling for that kind of property!

Every one have buyer's remorse. If it is only price, then you need to believe that you had done the necessary work and they were of good quality. It is alot of money, but as long as it is a house you like, and it makes sense for you finance, then you should not worry that much.
If there are other hidden issue then either talk with your agent's broker directly.
Take care and think positive thoughts!

Hi Aryan,
Its hard to reassure you without understanding your concerns.
If it's based on the value of your property, I am guessing that your agent has provided you comparable property information, right?
If it's a more general question regarding Los Altos itself, I am guessing that your agent has given you information about surrounding areas and past trends, right?
If it's related to the condition of the property, I am guessing that you've thoroughly studied all of the disclosures and reports with your agent, correct? And that you've planned to have your own inspections to fill in any of the gaps?
I'm not sure what else you might be worried about, but your agent should absolutely be able to provide you with enough support and assistance to be comfortable with your decision.
If the problem is that you don't have an agent...well, this just goes to show why you should :)
Good luck!
Aileen.
