Judgement must be paid first. Try to increase your mid credit score to above a 620 and FHA would be the best option for a loan with only 3.5% min down.

Pay off the judgment, unless it is inaccurate.
Raise your score to a minimum of 600.
Find a good lender and they will steer you in the right direction.
FHA is the way to go for you.

Interview them to make sure they do a ton of business,

speaking as one of those; don't waste your time,. the ones with "a ton" of business aren't going to spend the time on those scores. Pay the judgment and then work with a competent LO, but one who doesn't do "a ton" of business and might thus spend time on helping you.

Judgement is going to kill your loan.  Have to be zero balance on that.

I would recommend speaking with a local mortgage broker who does a lot of loans.  Not someone who does 10 loans a year, but someone who does 100 loans a year.

Interview them to make sure they do a ton of business, and then when you find someone who does a lot, they should be able to tell you your realistic chances of obtaining a loan.

Without other pertinent information, any answer anyone would give you would be a guess.  So that's why you will need to talk with someone like a mrotgage broker or a bank.

Talking with someone and having them to the work to see whether you qualify will not cost any money, and will give you a real answer as to whether you qualify or not.

Hope this helps, and good luck!
