home value

i notice the value of my home does not reflect the significant upgrades we've made since purchase 4 years ago. how can the zillow value be updated to reflect this increase in value - an important point should we need to sell...

thanks in advance for your response,

Claim your home and enter the upgrades using the "edit home facts" feature (under edit)

Zestimates will reflect some changes, but not all.   The most important are changes in square footage and room number.    You can also enter the spiffy new kitchen, travertine tile etc in the "owner's estimate" and make that value public.

When awaiting Zestimate changes, give it several weeks.

There is much more information on this subject in the Zillow FAQs.
