how are the homes for rent screened on Zillow? Could any of them be a scam?

One of the houses for rent listed in denver colorado, the price seems to good to be true. The landlord's response was odd and will not answer questions needed.  Interested to know if anyone can list their home for rent/sale and if there is any screening process to list a home.

The only screening is the willingness to either put it in a data feed or pay the price on Zillow.   Therefore, as with all advertising services for sales/rentals - buyer beware.

I have had quite a few scams attempted on my listings. Not here in zillow, but on craigslist.

If its too good to be true.. it probably is. Check out the common scams section on craigslist. Its a good heads up when looking to rent a home.
