To be able to answer your question, general advice doesn't help a whole lot but it can help a little.... New Millennium Bank no longer offers a card. when an acct closes it lowers your score. getting your credit report from annualcreditreport.com and disputing from there give 15 extra days to the bureaus and creditors time for results....
beware of advice from unqualified people, give me a call and i'll be happy to give you some free advice.

Your best bet is to order your free credit report from one of the credit agencies or from all 3. You're entitled to one free report from each a year.

credit reports show a history of responsible (or not) credit use. Therefore, most things stay on the report for seven years (some longer). As they age, your new history of good use of debt/credit starts to weigh more and the negatives less.

Kermy,
Your credit scale needs to become weighed down with good credit, as a result your scores will go up.
It usuallys take about 7 years for negative reportings to be gone.

A credit score is a prediction of your future likelihood to make a late payment. You need positive open credit cards with low balances. Open one at new millennium bank.

how bad does 4 neg accounts affect my score? will they ever come off?
