Your tax assessor should have a website where the year of construction can be found. As for remodeling, check with your local village hall to see if there is any history of permits being pulled on the property. Assuming the contractors were reputable, they would have had to obtain building permits.

I went to the local court house & ran a deed search. I found all property owners all the way back to 1912!!
btw...all the old owners are up the hill in the old cemetary! I lovingly refer to them as my "peeps"!
Your town hall may have records of any additions done on your home, but as far as regular upgrades, those would not require ba building permit. Ask some of the older neighbors. The ones who have lived there for years...they can be a wealth of information!
One more thing...I'd be very very leery of posting your actual address here. For your own safety, no one here needs to know your physical address.

Please visit the City Hall for the Town of Los Gato. City Hall has multiple departments governing and providing services for the Town of Los Gato. The number there is 408-354-6876. Give them the address and they can tell you everything from when it was first built to permits pulled on this property.

Go into the public records or drop the owners a letter and ask them. If you are looking for a contractor, contact your local realtor and ask them to recommend a few. We always have a long list of people who recommend because they have done good work for our clients.

how can i find out when was the house built and remodeling done if any? 451 A Monterey Ave, Los Gato
