An experienced REALTOR will compare your home with similar homes in the immediate area that are currently for sale, have gone under contract and or settled recently, as well as those that were on the market and failed to sell. This comparison will give you an idea of how your home stacks up with the competition, a likely value range and and estimated selling price.

You need the assistance of a neighborhood realtor who can provide you with the information you need to make an informed decision. They will do a market analysis free of charge. Ask for agent referrals from people you know who have sold their homes. Interview 2 to 3 realtors. Best of luck to you
