Look in your local newspaper for the Top Producer or the Top Sales Agent.  Thats the agent that has sold the most.  Don't choose the Top Listing agent because they only want your listing so they can put a sign in your yard.  You want an agent that will be honest to you and work for YOU.  When you interview the agent ask them how many houses do they currently have listed and how many have they sold this year.  If they have 50+ listings ask yourself how they are going to sell YOUR house.
