Hi I'm a pest control technician working in the area. To answer your question termites are fairly common in Chetsnut Hill as the rest of Massachusetts. I wouldn't say Chestnut Hill is any worse than any other town in the area. As well the type of construction will be a much bigger factor to a home getting termites than the termite pressure in a certain area.

Termites, unfortunately are common throughout Massachusetts. The best measure is to treat annually by being proactive rather than wait until after you find dust and body parts.
