The most accurate way is to utilize a local Realtor, they will be able to tell you the market value based on the sold comparable properties.  If you want tax value public records search will be your best bet, but keep in mind that is not the market value.

Feel free to contact me and I'll be able to look that information up!  Best of Luck!

It depends on how you want to use the information. Tax assessed value is readily available in the public records. You can almost always find this online. many people confuse assessed value with market value, or what the property might sell for today. market value and assessed value are rarely the same.

To find current market value you could search public records for recent deed transfers in a specific neighborhood. this will show everything that has changed title including foreclosures and arm's length transactions. Or you could call your friendly local Realtor and they can do the work for you.

If the property is in an area I serve I would be happy to help.

Hi Vsmith,

You should simply be able to put in the address in the address bar.  Another way is to go to Orange County Tax Appraiser under record search.  Put in the address of the home and the tax value along with recent comparable sales will come up.

Hope that helps!
