Google the address. In some cases the owner will pop up. Your city government will have the owners info. Talk to the letter carrier. They know a lot, believe me. I was one for 10 years.

Gosh, I hope that in the year and three months that this question was posted that the OP has found the answer.
Do a google search on "Honolulu property tax search" (website link will be removed by Zillow). The search will come up with City and County of Honolulu Public Access property tax information. You can enter the street number and name and it will show the owners. Let me know if you need more information. Mahalo!

If you have the address, you can go to the local tax assessors office or website and ask someone for the ownership information, they will usually help you.
You could also search online for other outlets such as [hotlink removed by Zillow moderator] to find the information.

Visit your local tax assessors office and look up the property and search through the records to locate the last known owner of record. As Mr. Mabry mentioned the information is not always correct, but it will give you a starting point

I would suggest that you look up the information on the GIS website. In the search bar type the county, state, and type GIS. Most sites has different searchs possible. Do search by address and type in the Street and/or house number. This will display the last owner of record. These are not always current but it gives you a great place to start. If you are not sure then take a trip to the register of deeds and ask for assistance. They will get you what you need.
how do I find owner of vacant home
