www.RealtyTrac.com is good to find pre-foreclosures. Use the 7-Day free trial, you may find it's worth the small fee afterwards.
Then there's www.Trulia.com which is not bad. It'll also tell you as early as a Notice of Default is being served, or homes are that are headed to auction.
