I have done several of these in the past. A Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) with a cover letter with a brief explanation and a "Professional Statement of Value"
Ask the agent who represnted you in the purchase or somone in your network of friends, it does not take much time, I have done these for no cost in the past because it's the right thing to do in my opinion.

In my opinion Zestimates are too broad: when comparing your specific home, you should try to find other homes within the closest proxomity to the subject property that is similiar in the number of bedrooms/bathrooms/size(sqft) & lot size that have sold in the last 90 days only. This market has been crazy and the Zestimate takes into account homes that have sold prior to the last 90 days. Zillow is great to use at a quick glance for value, but you should contact a local expert in your area to get an accurate Market Analysis.

I'd definitely ask an agent; I get calls from Zillow buyers on out of date sales all the time, so use an agent for more accurate information. An appraisal is expensive, although MUCH more detailed. An agent will help you out, and give you a CMA at no charge to you, but if your lawyer is telling you to ask an agent, I'll be happy to help you out.

Any local agent can provide you with a list of comparables and that should be what you are looking for.

On Zillow you can get a Zestimate. To do that, you can go here enter the address in the Find Homes box and hit the blue GO button. If Zillow has one for the house, a map will come up for the area. Zillow also has more information about the Zestimate here. If you need more infoamtion about your value, hire an appraiser or call a local agent to give you a comparative market report (CMA). Hope it helps.
how do I get value of my home & homes around me for a bankruotcy?
