We've sold our home and hence I don't want to claim it as my own.

If you no longer own a home, below are the steps to release home ownership:

1. Log in to your Zillow account then go to Favorite Homes.
2. Click the address in question then from the home details page, click the Edit then Release ownership claim. Follow the instructions provided.

3. Go back to your My Zillow and Favorite homes then click on "Remove favorite".

Please let us know if you need help. Thank you.

Have you already closed escrow yet? If not, that is one of the functions of the title company.

If you transfered the home to a relative, you still would have had to sign at the title company even if it were to sign a quit claim deed.

If this did not answer your question, please provide me some more info.

Thanks,

Dave Tapper
