I agree with Jeanmarie. One question, has the earnest money been delivered to the listing side? If not, you can still back out. Talk to your agent and lender as stated previously.

Yes, Yes, and Yes. Don't keep things from your agent. She may have some questions for you, and so will your lender. Be honest, and maybe they will provide you some insights you never considered. If you still want the house your offer is on, your seller may agree to an extension. Let your awesome agent do what they do best, and you be an awesome client.

You do need to be upfront with your agent. What closing target did you and the seller agree to in the contract?
how do I stall a purchase for three months after I've signed a contract two days ago?
I still want the property but I really have to wait until March. Without going into details I will be in a BETTER POSITION all the way around. Should I be upfront with my agent who is awesome?
