Andre, you have to verify everything you are told by an agent. When I bought my house a long time ago, I was told 17 acres of trees behind it were a part of the park system, and would never be developed. I didn't check. The acreage is privately owned. When we refinanced with a broker's agent, we lost tons of equity because they misled us, and we didn't ask, but we learned the next time. CHECK, CHECK, CHECK. - THEIR JOB IS TO SELL YOU A HOUSE.

National City may not be doing the DU refinance program to 125% many lenders aren't. BUT SEVERAL ARE) Don't worry you aren't married to National City Mortgage. You can refinance your Fannie May owned loan with any lender. And starting October 1st you can refiance your Freddie Mac owned loan with anyone.

Look up your local Board of Realtors and verify that persons membership. If they are a member of the Board of Realtors they ascribe to a code of ethics. If they don't carry out the code you can bring a greivance against them. You could also talk with another Realtor for a second opinion. You could also talk with that agents Broker. I am a Broker and I want my agent to take good care of the customer.
