On Zillow, you can get a Zestimate, but Zillow does not give appraisals or market values. You can go here type your address in the "Questions, Keywords, Topics" box at the top of the page and hit the blue GO button. If Zillow has your house, a map will pop up. Click on the address for more info including recently sold comps in your area. Zillow is a good place to start doing research about your value. You can also call a local realtor to do a CMA or hire an appraiser. Hope the link helps.

An agent can provide a competitive market analysis free of charge.  This is what we use to determine the market value.  You get a comparison of both active listings in your area as well as recently sold homes.  The recently sold are what you really need to take a look at as far as market value.   You could get an appraisal, however, I would not recommend doing so for various reasons.

You can have a local REALTOR  do a CMA (comparable market analysis) for you, or hire an appraiser to come appraise your property.  CMAs are usually done for free if you ask.
