And, by the way, you should get several CMAs. This will give you a good range of values and then you can average them out. It will also allow you to "softly" interview/interact with several agents to see if any appeal to you in case you want to sell your home. Just don't sign anything. You shouldn't be obligated to sign any agreement with an agent for a CMA. If they ask you to do this, walk away.

You can use a home's Zestimate home value as a starting point and then ask for a comparative market analysis (CMA) from a local real estate agent. They can provide this for free and will know best what your home is worth. And if you want to go an extra step, get an appraisal for a few hundred bucks. Good luck!
