how do you determine values of houses?

4 houses in our development sold for over $700,000.  Now their valuehas gone up tos almost $800,000.  Our house is in same development on a cul-de-sac on a larger lot and you have its value at less than $640,000 and our value has gone down for the past year.  Ours has to be at least $700,000.

Cari is right. An agent can get you a much more accurate number. If you are in a track home, I would go by square footage. Then you can adjust from that point.

Zillow is not as accurate as a Realtor's analysis or an appraisal. How do you know that 4 houses in your development have gone up to almost $800k? Is this according to Zillow? I can help you determine the value if you like, just give me a call or send an email. Cari Hendricks, Broker Associate [Phone removed by Zillow moderator. Please see our Good Neighbor Policy.]
