I know that as an agent with Coldwell Banker I can go in directly and claim my listings. I'm under the impression that other agencies don't provide this benefit to their agents - I've seen million dollar properties still listed as FSBO if at all yet they're under contract with an agency and the homeowners can't get their agent to claim the listing. Your best bet is to ask the agent directly, if he/she can't do it get yourself connected to an agency with true advertising and marketing strength. You shouldn't have to do the legwork for the agent, that's what he/she is getting paid for. Good luck to you in the sale of yor home!
