If you go to the 'help' section under "more", you will discover more details on how Zestimates are determined.
Zestimates are not appraisals, and only a starting point in comparisons. (very few people are happy with their Zestimates these days, but loved them a couple of years ago!)
If you claim the home, you can enter facts showing the details of the remodeling. In the next few weeks, the Zestimate may change reflecting the upgrades.
The bird's eye view photos are from public data bases and can be as much as 3 to 5 years old. They cannot be updated on demand. If you have done substantial remodeling, the best way to reflect it is to claim your home and upload your excellent pictures.

Zillow uses aggregate data from public records. They do not view your home, they don't take upgrades into account. You can log in and change your home's details.
