Very good question, that is one of my number one question when listing a home for sellers. Typically 24-48 hours generally.

@ravenfeed:   If the home is not listed on Zillow for > 31 days, the counter will reset at the beginning.   If an agent cancels a listing and the next week you post FSBO, the counter will continue from the point when the agent started listing.

If you have a listing in the mls and take it off and relist it fsbo will it show up on zillow the days you had it listed with the realtor?

You can just go on Zilllow and put it on your own... it does not cost anything

If the MLS is syndicated with the MLS, it usually appears within a day or two.  The issue is that most MLSs don't syndicate with Zillow, therefore, many brokerages set up a feed to non-MLS sites.   Here's a link. Otherwise, one can add it manually (link) or post it using postlets.
