Best way is to call the utility company and ask them. They can usually give you the usage and charge over the last 12 months.

Ask you buyer agent to inquire for you, but I must warn you as wetdawgs said, utilities vary with usage, the size of the property and the consumers.

Cable and garbage are ones where you could make some quick phone calls and have the current costs quickly.    We can have a 5 gallon trash can or a 96 gallon trash can or any where in between (and the costs are different)

Electricity, water, gas are highly variable.  It depends on the house size, the number of residents, whether the house is kept at 65 F or 75 F, other energy saving or wasting lifestyles,  and many other factors.   In addition, the utility rates vary tremendously from one community to the next - Alaska vs Florida or anywhere in between?

Garage is pretty standard in most areas around $50-$75 Electric and water are harder to estimate as everyone is different.

My recommendation is to call both and ask for 24 month average.
