Hi Trishkay65, it really depends on the area that the house is located.  May I suggest selecting a Realtor to work with and have them prepare a comparative market analysis for you to see an accurate estimate?

You can check if we have Zestimate for your home on the website by doing a search on this page. However, this value is not an actual appraisal of the property. It is just a starting point in determining you home's value.

You may click on this link for more information about the Zestimate value.

Thank you.

You should be very careful about getting online estimates of how much your home is worth. An accurate estimate is based on the actual condition of the home, any updates, the layout/functionality, and how it compares to other homes in the neighborhood. It is impossible for online estimations to take them into account because they've never been in your home.

Another reason to price your house carefully is that if you price to high, your house will just sit on the market and it won't be sold. The longer it sits, the more that is coming out of your wallet. If you price too low, yes, your house will be sold fast, but you could lose thousands of dollars that you could have gotten with an accurate home value estimate.

I'd strongly suggest speaking with a professional in order to maximize the accuracy of your home's value. If you do not wish to do so, I'd suggest to make a list of your home's characteristics (# of bedrooms/bathrooms, size, updated/not updated, finished/unfinished basement, fireplaces, ect) and comparing them to homes that have recently sold in your neighborhood. Try to be realistic with the price - while you may think your home is worth more, buyers will only pay as much as it is realistically worth.

Best of luck and let me know if you have any further questions!

If you are interested in a Zestimate, a computer generated estimate of value using public data, you can enter your address on the home page, click on the blue button.   If your home is in the database with a Zestimate, you'll then see a pop up box on the map.   Click on the address in the box to get to the home details page.

What is a Zestimate? describes more on what is used to calculate the Zestimate, the importance of the value range, and actions an owner can take.

A Zestimate is not an appraisal and doesn't substitute for a professional viewing your home in person.
