Hopefully you found the answer to your question by now. Just in case you haven't, the downpayment could be as low as $100.00 depending on what type of a loan you are getting. Most Buyers that I have been working with are putting 3% down, some put 20% down. Some use state or local down payment assistance programs. You may be surprised at how little it takes to get into a home.
