You can't with the tax record. Well.... you could, but you won't be accurate. Your best bet is to talk with a real estate sales person and have them evaluate it.

We evaluate homes in the same way an appraisor would, basing our numbers on recent sales. The tax assessors record rarely comes into the equation, other than to verify room counts and sqftage.
