It depends on the shape of the home and the lender requirements! We have a rehab loan program in California that will fund monies to a client when the home needs a lot of work. Darryl Stolz with Prospect Mortgage has the ins and outs of this program. Which is a great way for a buyer to get in a home when it needs a lot of work. Darryl's # 1-310-720-2159 or 805-239-1855. Good luck

You might be faced with a issue that the home condition does not meet the standards required for a loan. Look into FHA 203k or homepath renovation loans.

It will be the same as any other home purchase (finance wise that is). The real difference will come from the bidding/negotiating/contract phase of the process. I handle financing should you need assistance.

Amen Amen.  If they cannot read the simple terms of service how are they going to read and comprehend complicated real estate and financing documents?

Getting tired of seeing the same people making the same violations.  Zillow should ban them.

It's essentially the same as getting a loan on any other property, provided it's not falling apart. There are rehab loans available depending on the property. Is it by chance a homepath or HUD owned property?
