Send me your email and we will send them over. Are bank owned and foreclosed properties ok? We will even notify you as soon as new ones come on the market.

Thank you.

Hello,
I suppose you will get many answers re: finding a pool home in Santa Clarita! I would be happy to help you just like all the other agents! I have been in the business for almost 23 years in this local market of Santa Clarita. Three quesions. What's your price range? What areas of Santa Clarita and what's your email address? I can send you listings and newer listings as they become available. Now the ball is in your court! Take care!

If you are looking to buy soon, it may be worth your while to get a buyer's agent.  We did, and we were given a form by our agent with everything that was a "must have"in our house, with a pool being part of that.  So all listings that were sent to us had at least the amount of bedrooms and baths we were looking for, had the acreage we wanted, had a private pool, etc.  We didn't want to waste time looking at houses with no pools when it was one of the top items we wanted.

I'm also lucky that I have a sister in real estate so she would send me MLS listings in my area with pools, square footage, etc.

I think a buyer's agent is a must - at least for us.  You need someone on your side, not just the seller's agent.  Remember, the seller's agent is on the seller's side, not yours.  A buyer's agent is a godsend, will take you to see however many houses you want to see, will send you updates when a house with your specifications hit the market, etc.

Even before we got our buyer's agent, we went online, looked at houses for sale in our area and did a driveby to see if they had large lots, pools, etc.  We marked off many houses that way, before we got a buyer's agent.

And anyway, it's fun :)  Driving around your area looking at houses gives you a good idea of what you like for the outside of your house, the size of the yard you want, what the neighborhood looks like ( because they always take pictures to make it look like it's the only house there, then you drive through and see the houses are close enough together that you can wave through your bedroom window at your neighbor's bedroom window!

So get in touch with someone who can give you an MLS listing and check pool as an item you need, and it'll only give you houses with pools.

I suggest if you are working with a realtor. We have something called the MLS is how we generally search for homes. We can send you the listings with private pools. I would contact are realtor or start the interviewing process if your looking to purchase.

Unfortunately Zillow doesn't have a pool search function yet. Someday.

Zillow does not have a way to screen for swimming pools as far as I know. You can get a local realtor to select that feature in an MLS search for you an email you new listings as they come up. If you are looking for an agent in that area, you can always look at the Zillow profiles, the profiles of agents who reply to this thread and ask one of them to add you to an MLS list.

I would recommend using a web based email address for MLS updates though because some agents will not accept that you may simply want to browse the market until you see something that you want more info on or want to see inside. Some agents will pressure you like a client that they expect to see a closed escrow on in 90 days. You have to decide going in what you want as a client before you ask for the list. Most good agents will respect your timeline and are happy to do a search for you based on your specific criteria.

Hello,
It depends upon whether you are doing the searching or if you having a Realtor do it. I have a program whereby I give my clients a private account where they can narrow down their search criteria.  For example, they can request that they only be sent homes that have private pools.
Please let me know if I can be of service.

A local realtor would be able to search for specific properties for you in your area - and you can specify exactly what you are looking for in your new home like the private swimming pool - Hope this helps!
