I agree with Glenda, other place to find internet savvy Realtor is got to Activerain.com they have profiles of local Realtors by state & county.

Best way to narrow down is schedule an appointment.

Good Luck

One of the most common complaints I hear from sellers who listed with a "top agent" is that, once they signed the listing agreement, they never heard from that agent again.  Instead, their listing was assigned to one of the agent's team members who may or may not be experienced and knowledgeable.  So, even though you thought you were getting the "best" agent in town, you end up working with an agent chosen for you by someone else.

Rather than trying to select a "top agent" (a term which is subjective, at best), talk with at least 3 agents who work in your area. Ask friends and neighbors for suggestions, do a Google search for "Hanover VA Real Estate" ( agents who come up high on the results list are more likely to be better at internet marketing), drive around and see who has listings in your neighborhood.

Choose your agent based not only on experience and knowledge, but also by how well you get along with him/her.  You're going to be working closely with this person and it's important that you feel comfortable with your agent.  If you do choose to list with one of the "top agents", be sure to ask who you'll be dealing with on a day-to-day basis and ask to meet that person before signing.

What is you area? You really don't need a top agent. You need an experienced agent, an agent that will work for you and for your best interest. If you are facing a short sale, you need an agent that has experience with short sales. A lot of agents claim to be "short Sale Experts" because that is the trend.
In my area, all I have to do is list the property, my phone will ring off the hook, I will have multiple offers and jsut have to choose one. That's the easy part. The work begins after that. The constant communication with the bank, the negotiations... That's what you should be looking for.
