I used to live in Lauderdale! I miss the warm weather and gorgeous beaches! Your question about your home's value is determined by other homes that have been selling in your neighborhood in the last six months that have similar features. Be careful what you ask for in having a computer-generated model evaluate your home. They do not know what condition the home is in or whether the last sale was a distressed sale or the condition or terms of the sale of the eight other homes that sold in the last six months. Only someone who is familiar with the area, who has done their homework and who runs the comps can give you the most accurate valuation. Get a real estate agent to give you a CMA (comparative market analysis). They will run it off the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) that will give the most current and comprehensive information along with their own knowledge of the homes and conditions of your neighborhood and your home in particular.
