i am in active bankruptcy how can they put my house up for auction?

I also recently called bank of america after recieving a call from someone claiming to be with litigation informing me that my house had an auction date in a week. I have yet to have a meeting of creditors regarding my home. B of A informed me that "since im still in active bankruptcy I should be fine".   ??????????????????????? That's the same kind of ridiculousness why we are in foreclosure.

Call your attorney. You may be able to stop it pending the outcome of your bankruptcy, but it depends. Get legal advice ASAP.
