If you are not paying cash, you should contact a lender to get pre-approved first to know what price range you should be looking in. You can look on the website www.hudhomestore.com to see what is available but you should contact an agent to help you through the process.

Contact a loan officer first to go over your options and see if your are able to become a home owner.  It is simple and then go out looking with a real estate agent.

You might also wish to contact a great lender and get pre-qualified for your loan. That way, both you and your new agent know what price range you are comfortable shopping!
Best wishes, Jim

Donna, you can reach out to a Foreclosure Specialist right here on Zillow, you can find them under "Find a Pro" and then click on the foreclosure...read the reviews and pick one that you would like to help you. Luck with your HUD purchase!
