Lenders will use the middle score of the three bureaus. If you only have two, they will use the lower of the two and 549 will not be good enough for a VA loan. I would work on resolving your credit issues and improving your score.

What is your 3rd score? I only see two, one is pretty good and the other is a little low. If the 3rd score is above 620 we are in good shape.
Also, where are you getting these scores from? Did you pull them yourself from a "free credit report" site or did a mortgage company pull your credit? You would think they would report the same, but I have seen big differences.

Any good loan officer can help you with this for free. The key is finding a LO that is knowledgeable and will to help. They are out there. What state are you in? You can also use the Zillow directory, which is listed on the above tabs.
