Yes, when dealing with listing aggregation sites such as Zillow, these types of problems are not uncommon, because Zillow is dependent upon this information being sourced from lots of different places (which are many times inaccurate or outdated). For the most accurate and up-to-date information on Baton Rouge area real estate I would recommend going to the source -- checking out http://mls.gbrar.com which is the public website built directly on the local MLS's live database and provides real-time access to local listing information.

There is a disclaimer on Zillow Zestimates that says in essence the values are only as good as the information they are able to access. They pull from MLS data AND tax records. To give an example of inaccuracy, for one of my listings last year, the information on the site was for a sale prior to when my sellers bought it--so it was nowhere near accurate.
Call a local REALTOR® licensed to practice in our state. We have access to more current information, and market analyses are provided free of charge. If you are not selling right now, that's OK. If you like the person send him/her some business when you hear of someone buying, selling, or investing in real estate.
(As you may or may not know, Louisiana laws are based on Napoleanic code and are somewhat different from other areas of the country. Agents not licensed to practice in this state should be cautious in answering real estate questions for Louisiana residents. In fact, in one of our designation classes, the instructor said answering questions from other states in which you are not licensed is tantamount to practicing real estate without a license. I've limited my alerts to my state for this reason, so I stay out of trouble.)

The listing prices you see should be correct. They are either entered by the lsiting agent or the data is supplied to Zillow through various sources which pull the infomration directly from the local MLS services.
If your are refering to the Zestimate prices, these are ballpark estimates of value, not necessairly what a Seller is asking. In our area (Chapel Hill / Durham NC) I often see the Zestimates are often off by as much as 5-10% of actual market value as determined by ready willing and able Buyers.
