Zillow is a good place to find home that you may be interested in. It allows you to check for open houses in the area you may like.

I may know a good Realtor in your area I can refer you to as well.

VICJAN,

I recommend that you continue to do research and if the home that you'd like to view was just listed - chances are the agent will host an open house. If the agent hosts an open house then you can view the property without any obligations. The second option could be that you contact a trusted agent that may come to you as highly recommend from relatives, friends, or co-workers.

Hope this helps.

You need to look for an agent in your area that you trust. You may want your agent to find comps that are most similar to your property. Ask your agent to show you thru competing listings that are most similar to yours. Make a marketing strategy for your property with your agent from there.

Establishing Goodwill and creating client relationships is always important. As James said, do some research and find a Realtor you'd like to work with then ask them to preview some homes and that you'd like to list your home possibly. They should me eager to help...

Contact a local Realtor© tell them you want to see a home and you are considering placing your home on the market after.

Normally there is no obligation, just be sure to favor the Realtor© you contacted on both deals. It is only fair to do that.

You decide after viewing what is your best course and naturally ask the Realtor© what they suggest.

Good Luck!
