Are you looking at a property FSBO on Zillow that you wish to investigate further?   Or, are you looking in your community at a property for sale on Zillow?   If so, in both cases you'll find the contact information at the very bottom of the property details page.

you contact the seller's agent, (assuming this applies to the situation since there's not a lot of detail.).   if the seller's agent doesn't do their job you contact their broker.

If this is an ongoing transaction and the above failed, you contact the title company or escrow company with the critical information and have them contact the seller.  Even when the Seller's agent isn't doing their job, it's not OK for you to conatct them unless you have been given the OK.

If there's not a transaction and they don't have an agent....just contact them- if it s a fsbo...call the number advertised, check county records etc.
it's not that hard to get their info.

You should wait outside the seller's front door with a homemade cake. Nothing tacky like a fruitcake, or overly creamy. Standard chocolate with some frosting. Maybe brownies. Those are always nice. I would give you information for brownies. Put on a smile, make small talk, and you are bound to get more info than a half dozen faux lawyer style letters.

If the seller is represented by the agent call the agent, not the seller. Remember the NAR code of ethics does not allow you to contact a seller directly if represented.
If not represented, I agree, knock on their door.

Really? An REA is asking this question? And I'm supposed to seriously not take this into account when REAs say "we are the pros" and "we know how to get things done" yada yada yada?

Does no one else see the absurdity of an REA posting this question? Can't they at least get help from their brokerage?
