if the zestimate on my home is 181000 does that mean i should list it for that or does homeowners us

i listed in april of this year but now i believe in sept. of this yr. its worth more?? Am i correct to think that with prices rising..  Are   zillow zestimates meant to list your home at that price???

The core of the word "Zestimate" is "estimate".   It is not a market analysis[;   it is calculated using public data.   It is simply a starting point for comparison.    Zillow doesn't know if you have remodeled the entire house, or have mold and holes in the walls and floors.   

The FAQ "What is a Zestimate?" is important reading.

Hi

Zestimates really don't mean anything, its mainly a "rough" ball park guess. your home could very well be worth more though. the best way to find this out is to have your Realtor do an updated CMA and pull recent comps in your area. Prices in general have gone up in RI
