in a short sale when the lender saids they are in final review how long does that review take?

No one knows for sure. Lenders have the power and do not have a time frame to respond. On the other hand, review if the buyer presented the offer with an expiration date.

Sadly there is no formula, depends totally on the lender, plus is there one or two additional loans. They all make a difference.

Really depends on the lender. I have seen a couple of days to two three weeks. Really no set timeframe unless the home is the HAFA program.
