Diddo - could take a few days to a few months. There is no "norm" for short ssales.

No one knows for sure. Lenders have the power and do not have a time frame to respond. On the other hand, review if the buyer presented the offer with an expiration date.

Sadly there is no formula, depends totally on the lender, plus is there one or two additional loans. They all make a difference.

Could be anywhere from 2 days to 6 months. There are no rules or requirements. Lenders do what they want, when they want, if they want. Welcome to short sale hell!

Really depends on the lender. I have seen a couple of days to two three weeks. Really no set timeframe unless the home is the HAFA program.

in a short sale when the lender saids they are in final review how long does that review take?
