It is a great time to buy right now. If you can swing it and qualify I recommend you keep your current house right now, rent it out, and buy another house.

I agree that now is a great time to trade up in our area. Interest rates are at an all time low and there are so many houses on the market, I'm sure you will be able to find a good deal. I suggest you find out what your house can sell for and what houses are selling for in the area you would like to move too. It's always good to weigh out your options.

I would get with your Realtor to see what your home will sale for now. They can do a CMA for you and give you some idea what you can expect. Every market is different. If you in fact don't have a Realtor there, use yellow pages or google to find a Realtor there. They are glad to assist and then from there you can get some idea what homes in your market selling for. As a buyer, you will want to know too. Thank you for your question.
