Typically, corner lots are larger. But because you need front yard setbacks on two sides (side yard setbacks are smaller), you end up with a larger side yard facing a street and a smaller backyard, which also has exposure to the street (lack of privacy).

It may be good because it may cost less because the back yard  may be smaller and it has cars going by on 2 sides and it may be bad for the same reasons.

It looks like the big advantage to the house you targeted is the driveway is on the side of the house and the garage and driveway apron is on the back of the house.

If you own a home that has public sidewalks you have to keep em shoveled in the winter and you might be liable for higher sidewalk repair assessments (when compared to your neighbors).

But to compensate, I've noticed in homes in the my area, they would make the corner lots bigger so you had a little more land to build a bigger home.

The main concern is the backyard. Is it still adequate? Also some people do not like a yard that faces a street.
